Donald R. Faimon, O.D.

Dr. Don Faimon has been an integral part of the optometric staff at the MidWest EyeCenter for the last ten years. His formal training includes a Bachelor of Arts degree from Taylor University, a Master of Arts degree in Political Science from Miami University and his Doctor of Optometry degree from Indiana University. He continued his training at Bascom Palmer Eye Institute in Miami, Florida where he developed a strong background in diseases of the eye, including glaucoma and diabetic eye disease. His time at the MidWest EyeCenter has expanded his interest and experience into all aspects of refractive surgery (he is also a happy LASIK patient). He has lectured around the country on laser surgery and diseases of the eye. He is currently an active member of the Cincinnati Optometric Association, the Ohio Optometric Association and the American Optometric Association.
